If, like us, you’ve been waiting for news on the first story expansion for Dead Island 2, today’s the day.
PLAION and Dambuster Studios have just revealed that the first story expansion for Deal Island 2 will arrive on 2nd November. Called Haus, the expansion will takes players to a new location – a swanky villa in Malibu where apparently morality is pushed to its limit. With an assortment of new weapons and skill cards, players will need to battle their way through this new area, which is stated to consist of multiple labyrinthine biomes.
What kinds of weapons can players look forward to? How about the K-ROSSBOW, which affords players long-range firepower and can explode zombie brains with ease? To be honest, we prefer the sound of the Hog Roaster, which is described as “the ultimate ticket to visceral slaying whilst you simultaneously butcher and BBQ zombies.” Nice.
We very much enjoyed Dead Island 2 when it launched earlier this year. In fact, after waiting so long for it to arrive, we were pleasantly surprised with how good it looked and how polished it was. Needless to say, we’re looking forward to seeing how its story continues with Haus and what lies in store in the future with further expansions.
