Sony’s announced the line-up of games being added to the PlayStation Plus catalogue this July, and it’s looking rather good. There’s something for everybody, with some pretty hot releases — as well as a party game classic.
Leading the charge this month is Remnant II, which will be available to play on PS5 consoles. Sequel to Remnant: From The Ashes, this action-packed single player game was quite a big hit with us when it launched back in July 2023. In fact, in our Remnant II review we likened it to being “Dark Souls with guns”. What more could you want, really?
Next up is Final Fantasy spin-off, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion. It’s a HD remaster of the FFVII prequel, telling the story of Zack Fair. In our review, we said it had been “lovingly brought up to date” — and while we criticised Zack’s voice acting, there’s still an awful lot to like here.
That’s not all. PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers also have several other games to look forward to:
- Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord (PS4 and PS5)
- The Jackbox Party Pack 9 (PS4 and PS5)
- Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous (PS4 and PS5)
- No More Heroes 3 (PS4 and PS5)
- Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Complete Edition (PS4)
- Deadcraft (PS4)
- Steep (PS4)
For Premium subscribers, Job Simulator will be added to the PSVR 2 library. Classic PS2 games Summoner, Ratchet and Clank Size Matters and Jeanne d’Arc will also be available to play.
