Ubisoft is Giving Away Assassin’s Creed Syndicate For Free on PC

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate was the last traditional style Assassin’s Creed game before Ubisoft put the series on ice for a short while to reinvigorate it. And while we love Assassin’s Creed Origins and its follow ups, we’ve now also come to appreciate just how much more focused the older games are. It’s one of the reasons why we enjoyed the recent Assassin’s Creed Mirage so much.

If you’ve never played Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, there’s never been a better time, especially if you’re a PC gamer. Why? Because Ubisoft is currently giving the title away for free. Simply head on over to the Ubisoft Store, or open up Ubisoft Connect if you have it installed and access the store from there. Once in the store, you’ll find that you can add the PC version of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate to your account for free. After that, you can play it whenever you like.

It may be eight years old now, but you’ll find that Assassin’s Creed Syndicate still entertains thanks to its dual protagonist gameplay. Players get to control twin assassins Jacob and Evie Frye, as they battle to take back control of London from the clutches of the Templars. Aside from that, it brings some other fresh ideas to the table too, such as being able to scale buildings and travel between them much easier thanks to a grappling hook.

Want to take Ubisoft up on the offer? Be quick, as it ends on 6th December. And of course, if you really like what you play, Ubisoft has some DLC for the title for you to buy, which is currently on sale. If you’re on the fence, check out our review of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
