After finding success on PC, fast-paced turn-based tactical RPG Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters is finally making its way to consoles. Even better, it’s just over a month away.
A digital release only, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters will land on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on 20th February. We’ve spent some time with the PC version, which is now nearly two years old, and found it to be one of the best games based on the Warhammer 40,000 IP.
Focused on providing an engaging single-player experience, it has a story that grabs you from the outset, and backs it up with solid presentation. More importantly, however, its gameplay is top-notch, with tactical encounters that keep you on your toes. Providing the port is good, this will be a great get for console gamers.
Pre-orders for the console versions of Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters are open right now, and those who put their money where their mouth is will score a 15% discount on its suggested price of £34.99/$44.99. A special Purifier Edition is also available to preorder for £39.99/$49.99, which includes the game and the ability to recruit the legendary Castellan Garran Crowe to their party partway through its campaign. Pre-ordering either edition grants access to the Relics of Titan, too, a collection of two unique in-game items that should help players along their way.
