Set to release into early access on PC on 19th October, Fulqrum Publishing and Byte Barrel have just released ten minutes of gameplay footage for Forgive Me Father 2. The gameplay footage shows off the fifth level of the game called Cathedral, and for fans of retro styled first-person shooters it should be very appealing indeed.
We rather liked the original Forgive Me Father, and Forgive Me Father 2 looks like it will progress the series forward in numerous ways. There will be new enemies to face off against, new weapons to wield, and of course, new locations to explore. Along with improved visuals and gameplay tweaks to make it this sequel more enjoyable to play, we’re very much onboard.
While Forgive Me Father 2 launches into early access on October 19th, at which point there’ll be 10 levels for players to blast their way through, those keen to give it a go can do so right now. A demo is available via Steam that grants access to the first two levels of the game. Perhaps give it a download, and if you like it you can then add the full game to your wishlist or pick it up when it’s in early access.
For those who aren’t PC gamers, the original Forgive Me Father has just released on consoles and it’s pretty good. If you’re into retro-styled shooters give it some attention.
