Budding watchers in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora are huge, mushroom-like plants. They can’t be harvested, unlike some other plants out in the wilderness of Pandora. But they do contain secrets inside – providing you can open them up. But how do you open them?
From the base of each budding watcher, you’ll see lines of smaller white mushrooms. Typically there are four trails of these white mushrooms: follow them, and they’ll lead you to smaller versions of the budding watcher. You’ll need to follow each of the four trails, and interact with the smaller budding watchers at the end of them.
Once all off-shoot mushrooms have been interacted with, the budding watcher will open up, revealing an entrance to get into the centre of it. You’ll find different loot and rewards inside each one, but typically it’ll be Na’vi goods, like rare gear and ingredients. It’s worth getting in to each budding watcher you find, because you’ll never know what you’ll get.
