It shouldn’t really come as a surprise to anybody, but WWE 2K24 has been announced. There’s not all that long to wait for it, either: it’s arriving on consoles and PC early in March.
This year, 2K aims to make WWE 2K24 the best entry in the series yet thanks to a wealth of gameplay improvements and more. There are new match types including Ambulance Match and Gauntlet Match, while Backstage Brawl now has 4-player support and more interactive environmental elements.
On top of that, players will find a wealth of improvements in modes such as MyGM, MyRISE and MyFACTION, as well as a roster of over 200 WWE Superstars to fight as, seven real WWE referees, and a wealth of new weapons which you’ll now be able to throw.
What’s really piqued our interest about WWE 2K24 is 2K Showcase… of the Immortals, which is set to put players in control of iconic moments throughout 40 years of WWE history. As ever, the mode will mix gameplay with live-action footage, adding to the immersion. And as players made their way through the mode they’ll unlock content in accordance to their performance.
