Humble’s Spring Screams bundle throws together eight horror games on PC, providing the ultimate collection for those of us who like things that go bump in the night. And — we speak from experience when we say this — some of these games are very, very good indeed. If you’ve got £13.27 to spare, we suggest you pick this one up pronto.
It’s hard to pick out our favourite game in the Spring Screams bundle. Perhaps The Quarry, Supermassive Games’ interactive werewolf extravaganza. In our The Quarry review, we said it’s “bloody close” to being Supermassive’s best game, only just missing out on beating Until Dawn to the top spot.
There’s also My Friendly Neighborhood, which is best described as a Sesame Street survival horror — and, according to our review, “one of the best indie horror games of recent years”. Many people will be excited to know that Amnesia: The Bunker is part of the bundle, too, the latest entry into the highly acclaimed Amnesia series. We called it “true survival horror” in our review.
