Gears of War E-Day pre-order and editions guide

Gears of War E-Day quickly approaches, and if you want all the goodies that can come with it, here are all the pre-order bonuses and editions you can choose from.

Get a look at the beginning of the horrors of war with Gears of War E-Day. If you’re a serious fan of the series or a memorabilia collector, there are several editions to choose from, all of which come with some snazzy pre-order bonuses, should you want them. Here are the details.

All Gears of War E-Day editions and pre-order bonuses

Gears of War E-Day comes in three editions: Standard, Premium, and Collector’s, available on Xbox Series X and Steam on October 6, 2026. The standard edition, which retails for $69.99, is exactly what you think it is: the base game and nothing else. No frills, extras, or special bits or bobs. 

However, if you pre-order the game, you do get a few benefits:

• Early access to the Open Beta, which starts on August 6, 2026.
• The Legendary Exfil Weapon Skin set
• The Legendary Exfil Dom character skin

Those who digitally pre-order will have automatic access to the Open Beta, but if you buy a physical copy, your Beta code will come from the retailer where you purchase the game.

Gears of War E-Day Premium Edition

The E-Day Premium Edition comes with the base game, plus the following additional benefits for $99.99:

• Up to 5-day early access
• The Bravo Squad Signature weapon pack (only usable in the campaign)
• The Emergence Customization Pack, which includes:
  • Death’s Rendezvous Marcus Fenix Legendary Character Skin
  • Bloodied Hunter Tai Kaliso Epic Character Skin
  • “Death’s Rendezvous” Legendary Character Pose
  • “We must improvise” Legendary Character Pose
  • “Death’s Rendezvous” Legendary Weapon Skin Set
  • “Emergence Omen” Rare Weapon Skin Set
  • “Emergence Omen” Banner and Emblem
  • “Death’s Rendezvous” Icon
• Four additional Seasonal Customization Packs, each of which includes

If you purchase the base game, you can still get the Premium Edition content by buying the Premium upgrade as a separate purchase.

Gears of War E-Day Collector’s Edition

The Collector’s Edition of Gears of War E-Day comes with all the Premium benefits via a digital upgrade, plus the following bits of swag, all for $299.99 USD: 

• A 15-inch collectible diorama statue of Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago (requires 3 AAA batteries, not included)
• 1:1 scale replica of Carlos Santiago’s COG tags made of metal zinc alloy, and brass
• A campaign character themed in-game photo
• A limited edition Art Print

As a note, the Collector’s Edition of Gears of War E-Day will launch on October 1, 2026, with the global launch scheduled for October 6.
