Lohen is a 5-Star Cyro character who is likely being added to Genshin Impact during version 6.6.
While Lohen should be featured as a boosted 5-Star character on his Banner in version 6.6, he will eventually return to Genshin Impact at some point in the future when the Banner schedule cycles back to him.

Lohen kit
Lohen is a 5-Star Cyro character who uses a polearm, and keeping in mind that this is leaked beta information from honeyhunterworld that could change upon Lohen’s official release, and all of the percentages mentioned below are based on Level 1 Skills, here’s a summary of Lohen’s kit in Genshin Impact:
- Element: Cyro.
- Rarity: 5-Star.
- Weapon: Polearm.
- Normal Attack: Spear of Favonius — Broken Oath.
- Elemental Skill: Unforeseen Strike.
- Elemental Burst: Manifest Judgment.
- Passive one: When the Mood Strikes — Lohen gains ‘High Spirits’ for nine seconds after he unleashes his Elemental Skill, which increases the Skill Level of Unforeseen Strike by one. If the Skill Level of any other party member’s Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, or Elemental Burst is not lower than Lohen’s Elemental Skill Level, the duration of High Spirits will be increased by six seconds. High Spirits can be gained once every 18 seconds.
- Passive two: Moratorium on Questioning — When nearby party members accumulate Will to Win for Lohen by dealing damage while he is in Masterstroke mode, if that damage is not less than 4,000% of Lohen’s Base attack, it will accumulate an extra 60 Will to Win.
- Passive three: Flippant Masterpiece — While in Masterstroke mode, for eight seconds after another nearby party member triggers a Cryo Reaction, that character’s attack is increased by 15%, while Lohen’s attack is increased by 15%.
- Passive four: Witch’s Eve Rite: Unhealing Thorn — After completing Witch’s Homework: Of Various Foes, Lohen becomes a Hexerei character. When the party includes at least two Hexerei characters, you gain the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect, which enhances Hexerei characters. This effect will increase Lohen’s Normal Attack and Charged Attack damage by 40% for six seconds if you use either his special Element Skill: Etched Into Bone and Soul or Element Burst: Manifest Judgement when his Will to Win is at 50% or more of its max limit.
Lohen Normal Attack — Spear of Favonius — Broken Oath
Lohen performs up to five rapid strikes if tapping the normal attack button. Holding the attack button down instead makes Lohen perform a forward thrust by consuming stamina.
As with most plunging attacks, Lohen strikes the ground below dealing AOE (Area of Effect) damage upon impact, and damaging any enemies caught on his path to the ground.
Lohen Elemental Skill — Unforeseen Strike
Using his Elemental Skill causes Lohen to switch into Masterstroke mode. Lohen will actively accumulate Joy when in this mode, which is used to unleash the special Elemental Skill: Etched Into Bone and Soul. Nearby party members will also accumulate Will to Win for Lohen, which, in turn, increases the damage dealt by Etched Into Bone and Soul.
Lohen Elemental Burst — Manifest Judgment
Lohen’s Elemental Burst sees him performing a series of forward strikes, which consume all of his Will to Win and deal Cryo damage. The damage dealt increases based upon the amount of Will to Win consumed. If Lohen is in Masterstroke mode when his Elemental Burst is performed, the duration of Masterstroke will be increased by 1.65 seconds.
Lohen Talent materials
To get the most out of using Lohen, you will have to level his skills up by using Talent materials, which vary from character-to-character.
With the latest beta information sourced from honeyhunterworld, for Lohen, it looks like you’ll need to farm a lot of Arrowhead and Resistance materials to fully upgrade his capabilities.
As Lohen has three Talents, you will have to spend three times the Talent materials listed below to fully upgrade all of his abilities, which we’ve also detailed below the table.

Lohen Ascension materials
Just like Talents, you need to use Lohen Ascension materials to upgrade his health, attack, defence, and critical hit effectiveness.
Based off the same honeyhunterworld beta leaks, it looks like you’ll need to farm a lot of Etherwing Moth and Arrowhead materials for Lohen to fully upgrade his capabilities.
Unlike Talent materials, you only need to spend the below Ascension materials once to fully raise Lohen to his highest character level. There is also Acquaint Fate rewarded for reaching certain Ascension levels. You can spend this Fate on the standard and beginner Banners to Wish for characters and weapons.

Lohen Constellations
By getting duplicates of Lohen from wishing on his Banner, you will receive his Stella Fortuna. This material allows you to unlock Constellation levels, with each upgrade either improving an existing Talent or Passive ability.
With thanks to honeyhunterworld again for sourcing this leaked beta information, here are all of Lohen’s Constellations in Genshin Impact:
- Yesterday’s Breeze, Laden With Sorrowful Song (C1): Lohen’s maximum Will to Win limit is increased to 250% of its original value. Additionally, when other nearby party members deal damage while Lohen is in Masterstroke mode, they accumulate 250% more Will to Win for him than they originally would have.
- All Who Fly High Become Targets in Time (C2): When in Masterstroke mode, after unleashing the special Elemental Skill Etched Into Bone and Soul or the Elemental Burst Manifest Judgment, Lohen gains ‘Evilsbane Blade’ for four seconds. The next time Lohen hits an opponent with a Normal or Charged Attack while in Masterstroke mode, he will follow up with an additional strike that deals AOE Cryo damage equal to 300% of his attack, and increase the Elemental Mastery of other nearby party members by 125 for eight seconds. Evilsbane Blade can be triggered once every four seconds.
- Only a Sharp Blade Can Heal This Hurt (C3): Increases the Level of Lohen’s Elemental Skill by three, with a maximum upgrade level of 15.
- Love Like Flowing Light, Faded Like Gladsome Strains (C4): While in Masterstroke mode, his Will to Win will be maxed out when Lohen unleashes the Elemental Burst. An additional effect will also occur when Lohen switches to Masterstroke mode depending on how much Elemental Energy he has:
- Elemental Energy not full — Lohen recovers 15 Elemental Energy.
- Elemental Energy full — If, during the next 15 seconds, Lohen unleashes the Elemental Burst, he will recover 15 Elemental Energy.
- Beyond Sight, Beyond Question (C5): Increases the Level of Lohen’s Elemental Burst by three, with a maximum upgrade level of 15.
- Body and Soul Destroyed, Naught But Joy Endures (C6): Any Will to Win will not be consumed when using the special Elemental Skill or unleashing the Elemental Burst when in Masterstroke mode. Instead, Lohen’s Joy will be maxed out, and the duration of this instance of Masterstroke will be extended by 1.25 seconds when he next uses the special Elemental Skill. This effect can be triggered once every seven seconds. Additionally, the Crit Damage of all the damage described above is increased by 80%.
