Nicole kit

Nicole is a 5-Star Pyro character who uses a catalyst, and keeping in mind that this is leaked beta information from honeyhunterworld that could change upon Nicole’s official release, and all of the percentages mentioned below are based on Level 1 Skills, here’s a summary of Nicole’s kit in Genshin Impact:

  • Element: Pyro.
  • Rarity: 5-Star.
  • Weapon: Catalyst.

Genshin Impact Nicole materials, kit, and Constellations

  • Normal Attack: Allegoria.
  • Elemental Skill: Revelation: Uncreated Light.
  • Elemental Burst: Revelation: Ladder of Divine Ascent.
  • Passive one: Nepsis — Nicole’s Charged Attack becomes ‘Emissarial Guidance’ if you have already obtained the current region’s Treasure Compass outside of combat in Teyvat. This attack summons nearby Seelie to show the way, triggering an effect similar to the region’s Treasure Compass. This effect has a cooldown time of five seconds and does not work in Domains, Trounce Domains, and the Spiral Abyss.
  • Passive two: Methexis — For 20 seconds after unleashing her Elemental Skill, Nicole will continuously ‘Observe’ the other current active party members. After the observed character has remained on the field for three seconds, their Grace of Kenosis is upgraded to Guidance of Theosis, increasing their attack by an additional 300. If the observed character is a Hexerei character, Grace of Kenosis is upgraded to Guidance of Theosis straight away. When characters other than Nicole who have Guidance of Theosis leave the field, their effect reverts to Grace of Kenosis.
  • Passive three: Philokalia — When a nearby active party member deals Elemental damage, Nicole’s Grace of Kenosis effect is upgraded to Guidance of Theosis for eight seconds.
  • Passive four: Witch’s Eve Rite: Light in the Darkness — After completing Witch’s Homework: The Role of a Guide, Nicole becomes a Hexerei character. When the party includes at least two Hexerei characters, you gain the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect, which enhances Hexerei characters. This effect increases the damage dealt by Hexerei characters’ Arcane Projections by 150% of Nicole’s attack.

Nicole Normal Attack — Allegoria

Nicole performs up to three attacks dealing Pyro damage if tapping the normal attack button. Holding it down instead makes Nicole consume a certain amount of Stamina to perform an attack dealing AOE Pyro Damage in front of her.

As with most plunging attacks, Nicole plunges from mid-air and strikes the ground below for AOE Pyro Damage on impact, damaging opponents along her path.

Nicole Elemental Skill — Revelation: Uncreated Light

Using the Skill button causes Nicole to place the Grace of Kenosis effect on nearby party members. This increases their attack alongside dealing AOE Pyro damage. It also creates a Shield of Blazing Light, the Damage Absorption of which is based upon Nicole’s attack. It will also absorb Pyro damage at 250% effectiveness.

Nicole Elemental Burst — Revelation: Ladder of Divine Ascent

Nicole deals AOE Pyro Damage, alongside switching to the Silent Contemplation mode. When this mode is active, an Arcane Projection will be summoned when active party members hit opponents. This deals AOE Elemental Damage based on the character’s corresponding Elemental Type. The damage dealt is based upon the corresponding character’s attack and will be considered dealt by them.

This effect can occur once every three seconds and can be triggered up to five times every time Nicole switches to Silent Contemplation mode. If you’re using Hexerei characters, be prepared for their Arcane Projections to look a little different…

Just like Talents, you need to use Nicole Ascension materials to upgrade her health, attack, defence, and critical hit effectiveness.

Based off the same honeyhunterworld beta leaks, it looks like you’ll need to farm a lot of Pine Amber and Warrant materials for Nicole (if you don’t already have them) to fully upgrade her capabilities.

Unlike Talent materials, you only need to spend the below Ascension materials once to fully raise Nicole to her highest character level. There is also Acquaint Fate rewarded for reaching certain Ascension levels. You can spend this Fate on the standard and beginner Banners to Wish for characters and weapons.

Here’s what Nicole Ascension materials and Mora you need to upgrade her for each Ascension level:

Nicole Constellations

By getting duplicates of Nicole from wishing on her Banner, you will receive her Stella Fortuna. This material allows you to unlock Constellation levels, with each upgrade either improving an existing Talent or Passive ability.

With thanks to honeyhunterworld again for sourcing this leaked beta information, here are all of Nicole’s Constellations in Genshin Impact:

  • Do Not Be Afraid, Child Who Is Loved (C1): When the party’s current active character hits an opponent, an additional special ‘Arcane Projection: Unity’ will be summoned to perform a Coordinated Attack against the opponent, dealing AOE Elemental Damage of the character’s corresponding Elemental Type at 600% of their attack. This damage will be considered as having been dealt by the corresponding character. This effect can trigger once every six seconds.
  • I Will Guide You and Show You the Path You Should Tread (C2): This enhances the effects of the Elemental Skill. First, Grace of Kenosis increases attack by an additional 240, which does not count toward this effect’s attack bonus limit. Secondly, Guidance of Theosis decreases nearby opponents’ Elemental Resistance against the corresponding character’s Elemental Type by 20%. (Though this effect does not stack for the same element.) Additionally, when using Nicole’s Elemental Skill, nearby active party members will also gain a Shield of Blazing Light.
  • A Lamp by Your Side, A Light to Shine the Way (C3): Increases the Level of Nicole’s Elemental Skill by three, with a maximum upgrade level of 15.
  • Whether Left or Right, No Matter Which Way You Turn (C4): When nearby party members have their Grace of Kenosis upgraded to Guidance of Theosis, Nicole also gives them the Pathfinder’s Blessing effect for 20 seconds. Each character can gain this effect once every 17 seconds. The Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Plunging Attack, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst damage of characters with Pathfinder’s Blessing is increased by 70% of Nicole’s attack. This effect will be removed once it has taken effect eight times or when its duration is over. When multiple opponents are hit at the same time, the number of times Pathfinder’s Blessing takes effect is based on the number of enemies hit. Each character’s Pathfinder’s Blessing is counted independently.
  • You Will Hear My Voice Beside You (C5): Increases the Level of Nicole’s Elemental Burst by three, with a maximum upgrade level of 15.
  • This Is the Path, Walk It Without Delay (C6): When Nicole’s Grace of Kenosis is upgraded to Guidance of Theosis, all nearby party members’ Grace of Kenosis will also be upgraded to Guidance of Theosis. Once upgraded, Guidance of Theosis will no longer revert to Grace of Kenosis. Additionally, damage dealt by characters with Guidance of Theosis will ignore 40% of opponents’ defense.

Good luck levelling up Nicole in Genshin Impact!
