The story was shared by Georgia TikTok creator @savsilby. Her video quickly racked up hundreds of thousands of views, with thousands of commenters expressing disbelief over the unusual breakup and waiting for more details in follow-up videos.

In a follow-up video, the Georgia woman explained that she had been helping her sister create a Facebook Marketplace listing for a table. To make the listing stand out, she generated an image of an attractive AI woman sitting at the table. According to her, her boyfriend’s reaction immediately caught her off guard. She claimed he admitted he found the AI woman attractive and even described the fake woman as “conventionally attractive” while speaking to her directly.

She said his behavior became increasingly strange over the following days. Eventually, she received a five-paragraph text message from him ending the relationship. The Georgia woman admitted the breakup left her in tears because she did not want the relationship to end. Looking back, she also noted that her former boyfriend had always seemed to prefer brunettes, while she is blonde. Despite the emotional ending, she finished her story on a lighter note, joking that her next boyfriend would at least need to have both a car and a job.

Georgia Breakup Leaves Internet Stunned

The story quickly drew widespread disbelief, with many viewers saying they could hardly believe someone would end a real relationship over an AI-generated woman. Many described the situation as bizarre and surreal, while others admitted they initially thought it was a joke until the Georgia woman posted additional videos explaining what had happened. “That’s insane,” one commenter wrote.

Many viewers also argued that the breakup may have been a blessing in disguise. Instead of feeling sorry for the creator, they suggested she had avoided a much bigger problem and was ultimately better off moving on. Several encouraged her to treat the experience as a fresh start and said she deserved someone who was more emotionally grounded.

Others focused on the Georgia woman herself, praising her confidence and sense of humor as she told the story. Many complimented the way she handled the situation and said they enjoyed her storytelling style. The unusual breakup also left viewers wanting more information, with many asking follow-up questions and eagerly watching her later videos for additional details.

A smaller group questioned whether the AI explanation was the real reason for the breakup, suggesting there could have been other factors behind the relationship ending. Others simply laughed at the increasingly unusual details, including the revelation that the couple had originally met through Facebook Marketplace.

Apparently, AI can now help sell furniture and, according to one viral story, end relationships, too. Facebook Marketplace certainly wasn’t expecting that kind of listing.
