Gigi Paris, Glen Powell‘s ex-girlfriend, has broken her silence on the dating rumors involving him and his Anyone But You co-star Sydney Sweeney, sharing her thoughts in a recent interview. Paris and Powell were first linked in 2020, but they broke off their relationship three years later in early 2023.

Gigi Paris recently appeared on the Too Much Podcast, hosted by Emma Klipstein. She discussed how her relationship with Glen Powell ended, revealing that it started suffering six months before they split.
Paris first shared how her relationship with the Top Gun: Maverick actor began to deteriorate. Keeping the details slightly vague, she recalled noticing one day that she was tagged in the caption of one of his social media photos, reportedly referencing Sweeney. This incident prompted her to tell Powell to watch what he was saying and “proceed with caution.” However, Paris’ suggestion wasn’t received well by Powell, and this started a “steady decline” of their relationship.
The model then brought up the dating speculation surrounding Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney, without naming them. She explained how she had two options when it came to dealing with the speculation.
Paris said she could either “pretend” to go along with the speculation and keep everyone guessing on whether Powell and Sweeney were “hooking up” or “stand up for” herself and express that she was “not okay” with it and was “walking away.” She revealed that she chose the latter option, saying she was “shattered” by the ordeal.
The model stressed that all she wanted was to be respected.
“Like, don’t make an a– out of me. Like, just don’t make a fool out of someone you’ve been with for over three years, talking about forever with,” she added. “Just have some decency, you know? And at the end of the day, it was like, well, work comes first,” Paris further stated.
She expressed her dislike for how the situation was handled, claiming she was “fed to the dogs.” Paris went on to express her frustration with her ex for not being supportive and not shutting down the rumors.
The model also revealed the exact moment she realized her relationship with Powell was over. She shared how Powell had called her and told her not to come to Australia to visit him after she had gotten the visa, following a discussion with Anyone But You’s producers.
“And that’s when I hung up. And I was like, this m———-r is done to me,” she added.
