Where to find every character's Easter Egg ornament in Heartopia's Revival Hymn event.

Despite its rather cookie-cutter main seasonal events, Heartopia seems deeply averse to ever letting you get bored. It feels like there are always multiple events on the go outside of the central seasonal rotation, with any real-world celebration taken as an opportunity to add in another short activity. So naturally, the recent Easter weekend did not pass unobserved.
The Revival Hymn event is running from April 4th to April 27th, 2026, and aside from having an improbably cool name to mirror real-world Easter celebrations, it comes with a couple of minor (optional) quests attached. One of these is the Wonder Egg Hunt, which – you guessed it – is a pretty classic Easter egg hunt.
Searching high and low for character-themed Easter eggs in Heartopia’s festively decorated town square is an entertaining experience, for sure, but there’s no frustration quite like being unable to capture that last collectible. To help you out, we’ve put together some hints as to the general locations where you should be looking, as well as a full illustrated run-down of all Heartopia Wonder Egg Hunt locations.

Heartopia Wonder Egg Hunt
You don’t need to perform any particular action to join the Wonder Egg Hunt in Heartopia. You can track its location from the main Events tab, but you are automatically enrolled in the activity from the moment you first log in during the event duration.
Unlike the previous egg hunt featured in the game, every single egg is available from the first day of the event, meaning that it’s perfectly possible to complete the whole thing in one go. Just like in the Onsen Egg Promise hunt from the recent Winterfrost season, you «collect» each egg by taking a picture of it using the in-game camera.
There are eight eggs in total to find, all of which are painted to resemble one of the game’s major NPCs (although there are also some notable omissions – pour one out for Naniwa, even if I do bear a grudge for how useless his Inflatable Insect Attractors are).
The game readily tells you that all the eggs are located in the Central Square region of Whale Island, but there are a couple of other clues I can give you to help you out if you’re a bit stuck:
- All of the Easter eggs are specifically outdoors in the Central Square map area, although not all of them are literally in the village square itself.
- Every egg can be found in a location that is associated with the character it’s painted to look like.
Hopefully that’s enough to get you started! But if you’re still stuck, don’t worry – scroll on down past the video for a fully spoileriffic run-down of each egg’s location!
Annie’s Easter Egg Ornament
Annie’s egg can be found perched high up on one of the fins of the largest whale on the statue in the town square, near to where she usually hangs out. It’s almost hidden among a bunch of Easter balloons.

Atara’s Easter Egg Ornament
Atara’s egg is, aptly enough given his role as mayor, directly beside the entrance to city hall, hidden behind a column on the Art Street side of the front porch, to the right of the doorway.

Bob’s Easter Egg Ornament
Bob’s egg can be found atop the umbrella covering the picnic table just to the right-hand side of the entrance to Bob’s shop as you approach.

Dorothee’s Easter Egg Ornament
Dorothee’s egg is high up on the cornice above the right-hand window on the outside of her shop. Note that this is easily the most difficult egg to get the camera to pick up due to its height, and that the most effective way to ensure your photo registers correctly is in fact to go inside the clothing shop’s upper floor and clip the camera outside by standing near the window. (Many thanks to Izidays on TikTok for the tip!)

Vanya’s Easter Egg Ornament
Vanya’s egg can be found in the garden of his house, nestled among the flowering bushes next to the wheelbarrow just inside the gate. (Interestingly, the egg can still be found here even though Vanya himself is currently located on Amethyst Beach as part of the Dreamlight Cinematics Festival seasonal content.)

Blanc’s Easter Egg Ornament
Blanc’s egg is on the picnic table shaded by an umbrella in the front garden of his home, almost hidden among the many plants that Whale Island’s resident horticultural enthusiast has placed on its surface. (It’s on the side of the table closest to the balustrade wall if you’re having trouble locating it among all the foliage.)

Mrs Joan’s Easter Egg Ornament
Mrs Joan’s egg is in another high-up location, although mercifully unlike Dorothee’s, it’s possible to photograph it from the ground, even if you do have to get the angle just right. It can be found on the green shutter of the right-hand most second-storey window of Mrs Joan and Bailey J’s house, at the end of a string of more generic egg decorations.

Bailey J’s Easter Egg Ornament
Bailey J’s egg is also right beside the house she shares with Mrs Joan, in this case down the alleyway on the left-hand side of the building as you face it, which leads to Bailey J’s wheelchair access lift.

Heartopia Wonder Egg Hunt rewards
Unlike the aforementioned Onsen Egg Promise hunt, you get your own home decor versions of the eggs from the Wonder Egg Hunt just for finding and photographing them – no need to chase all over the map looking for gift bubbles this time!
There are also rewards for reaching a few milestones during the Wonder Egg Hunt:
- Finding two of the eggs nets you the Easter Egg Balloon Bouquet, a handheld cosmetic item.
- Finding four of the eggs grants you the Revival Bunny Eggshell Hat.
- Finding six of the eggs is rewarded with the Revival Hymn Top Hat.
Oddly, there is no additional reward for finding all eight eggs.
That’s all for our Heartopia Wonder Egg Hunt locations, but if you can’t get enough of the concurrent Dreamlight Cinematics Festival, you’ll surely be interested in our up-to-date list of all the special birds, bugs, fish, and recipes that the new season has brought!
