The Terminal is unlocked as you complete the main story normally and accomplish all the objectives that are available in the Tasks menu. This also includes the quests enabled by your personal choices made in the game. Once you have done that, you can safely travel from the Shoreline to the Terminal in Escape from Tarkov.
A general thing to remember is that the transition point on Shoreline is only available between 22:00 and 04:00 in-game time. To be precise, you can find the transition point on the southern part of the Shoreline map, near the coastal area. - You won’t have access to most of your equipment. This makes getting out of the Terminal map even difficult.
- On the other side of the Terminal, you will find a Zubr boat. It’s the only thing that can take you out of this map, basically, help you beat Escape from Tarkov.
- Loot inside the Terminal is high-risk, high-reward, and mostly found in difficult-to-reach areas. Go after the rewards only if you are confident about it.
