How to catch Critters in Moonlight Peaks
To catch Critters in Moonlight Peaks you need to sneak up to them, chase them and capture them with a Net. You will need to be patient because you will only get your Net after speaking with Death shortly after they arrive. They’ll stop you and ask you to catch Soul Blobs — then you’ll be given your Net.
Once you have a Net, simply equip it when you’re near a Critter like a Butterfly and then get in range before swiping the Net at it to capture it. This is the same process as catching Soul Blobs. If you’re successful, the Critter will enter your inventory.
Some Critters are faster than others. For the fast ones, your best chance at capturing them is to chase them into a corner or a point where trees block their escape route and attempt to catch them when they turn back on themselves. However, if you chase a Critter for too long then they can disappear.
Also, different Critters appear in different seasons and weathers — so pay attention while you’re out exploring, you may come across something new!
