In Revenge of the Savage Planet, you’ll run into thick amber deposits during the Roundtrip 2.0 quest. This amber coats parts of the Javelin and blocks your progress. You can’t clean it, burn it, or smash it with basic gear… You need a specific item.
Here’s how amber works and how to destroy it.
What Amber Does
Amber is the orange crystal that covers parts of the Javelin. It stops you from finishing the ship repair mission. You’ll also find it scattered in other planets and blocking loot or paths.
You can’t:

Use the lava tank on it

Break it with normal weapons

Melt it with acid or bombs
You’ll need something stronger.
How to Destroy Amber
To break amber, you need Blight Bombs.
Here’s how to do it:

Find a Blight Bomb plant – These are small green pods found on planets like Quasadron IX.

Grab the bomb – Just walk up and interact with the pod to pull one out.

Toss it at the amber – Aim directly at the orange crystal and throw. One hit will shatter it completely.
You can also unlock a Blight Bomb launcher upgrade later on so you don’t need to carry the bomb by hand.
Best Place to Find Blight Bombs
Blight Bombs are most common on Quasadron IX, especially near the Savannah Lake area. There’s a ton of bomb plants here, so stock up while you’re visiting.
Once you’ve got a few, head back to your base and use them on the amber-covered Javelin.
