Fortnite is once again partnering with a major creator for a PlayStation-exclusive event, this time it’s popular streamer and pro player Clix with a brand-new PlayStation Cup.
Open to PlayStation players, the PlayStation Clix Cup offers a mix of competitive Battle Royale action, a Zero Build event, and a range of rewards, from exclusive cosmetics to cash prizes. Here’s a full breakdown of how it works and how you can get involved.
When is the PlayStation Clix Cup?
The event is spread across two key dates, starting with an open qualifier before concluding with finals and an additional Zero Build round.
- Battle Royale Qualifier: April 29, 2026
- Zero Build Single Round: May 2, 2026
At the end of the Battle Royale qualifier, the top 100 players will advance to the Battle Royale Finals on May 2nd.
- Battle Royale Finals (NAC only): May 2, 2026 (7 PM – 10 PM ET)
While early rounds will not be broadcast, the finals will be streamed live across PlayStation’s channels, alongside Clix’s own co-stream.

How to sign up for the PlayStation Clix Cup
Entry is handled entirely through Fortnite’s in-game tournament system, and you’ll need to be on PlayStation to take part.

PlayStation Clix Cup format explained
The structure follows a familiar format for Fortnite tournaments, beginning with an open qualifier before narrowing the field down for finals.
On April 29, players will compete in the Battle Royale qualifier, earning points through eliminations and placements across multiple matches. Once the session ends, the top 100 competitors will progress to the finals.
The finals on May 2 will see those players go head-to-head during a three-hour window, with each match contributing toward their overall performance.
Alongside this, a Zero Build single-round event will run on May 2, giving players an opportunity to compete and earn rewards outside of the main Battle Royale bracket.
