Harvesting Calcium in StarRupture is crucial to make progress in the later half of the game, as it is used to make some of the key items for your base. Unlike resources like Wolfram and Titanium, the white ore can be tedious to find, as their deposits appear far from your spawn. Yes, you can collect them from the meteors, but they come in less quantity compared to natural veins.

How to farm Calcium in StarRupture
Finding Calcium ore depends on where you set up your base in StarRupture. The game’s vast open world is rich with different resources. However, you would ideally want to set up your camp near Titanium ore and Wolfram ore, which are required for the beginner projects.
Calcium deposit locations
Upon setting up the initial machinery, you will soon need to farm calcium. Harvesting them from the deposits is the most sought-after method of getting the white ores in large quantities. So far, we have found two chunks on the map where you can find the Calcium veins.
The first deposit is located west of the starting location. The other appears northeast of the spawn point, marked as white patches on the map. Upon tracking them, set up a secondary Base Core near the deposit, which will allow you to place an Ore Extractor.
You can then connect the machine to an Orbital Cargo Launcher to send the product to your corporation in StarRupture. Alternatively, you can put the Calcium Ores in the Smelter to craft various items.
Collecting Calcium from meteors
You can also find Calcium, along with other resources, inside the meteors that spawn throughout the map. Shatter the rock to obtain all the building materials. Calcium seldom appears outside the meteor. If they do, the rock’s exterior will have a white tint.
Finding Calcium chunks
Calcium chunks can be found quite early into the game. You can collect the ore directly from the stray rocks, which will appear as white chunks on the ground.
Calcium in StarRupture can be turned into Calcium Blocks and Calcite Sheets. Upgrade the Smelter as soon as possible to create blocks, which can be used to level up the corporations. Later, set up a Fabricator to create more items from the ores.
Calcium Blocks can be converted into Calcite Sheets via the Fabricator. The latter serves as the building material.
