How to line your inventory with Copper Ingots, and where to find Copper Ore.
Copper Ingots are a necessary resource in Witchspire, as you’ll need them for upgrading weapons or upgrading the level of your Hearth, which you’ll want to do if you wish to unlock even more shiny devices, tools, and trinkets.

How to get Copper Ingots in Witchspire
To get Copper Ingots in Witchspire, you need to mine Copper Ore using the Witch’s Pickaxe and then smelt the ore into Copper Ingots at a Furnace. I’ve walked you through how to do all of this step-by-step below:
1. Unlock and craft the Witch’s Pickaxe.
The Witch’s Pickaxe can be unlocked in the Luminaries Skill Tree once your Hearth is at least Level 2.
After unlocking it, you can then craft it at a Workbench using one Gemstone, 10 Froblin Goo, and 10 Carapace.
You’ll be able to gather Carapace from Specra enemies along the beach, and Froblin Goo from Froblin enemies at Froblin Camps.
2. Unlock and build the Furnace.
Once you have the Witch’s Pickaxe, you ought to unlock and build the Furnace at your base next so that you can smelt your Copper Ore into Copper Ingots.
You can unlock the Furnace in the Luminaries Skill Tree once your Hearth is at least Level 2, and then build it by opening your build menu by pressing ‘B’. You’ll need five Fine Wood, one Cinderbloom, and 10 Stone to craft it.
With that out of the way, let’s seek out some Copper Ore to smelt.
3. Mine for Copper Ore.
Put your Witch’s Pickaxe into your hotbar so that you can easily access it, then start looking for Copper Ore nodes around the map. In my experience, I found a few nodes around the small mountain in the below location:
These nodes appear as large dark rocks with copper protruding from them. Approach them and use your Pickaxe on them (in the same way you’d use your weapon on an enemy) to collect both Stone and Copper Ore from them.
Alternatively, I also found plenty of Copper Ore inside Shard Caverns in the Timberline Basin region. To reach here, go to the Al’uunian Tower south of the region (which you’re prompted to visit as part of the main story) and use the portal there. Then, keep right along the following path to eventually drop down into the Caverns, where you’ll find both Copper Ore and Iron Ore.
4. Smelt the Copper Ore into Copper Ingots at a Furnace.
Once you’ve plenty of Copper Ore to hand, return to your base and interact with your Furnace. Here, you’ll be able to smelt one Copper Ingot in exchange for two Copper Ore and one Charcoal.
If you don’t have Charcoal, you can burn Wood at the Furnace to get it, then go about smelting your Ore.
