How to get Dark Fragment in Palworld
In Palword, you can get Dark Fragment from several different Dark-type Pals either by defeating them or breeding and disassembling them. We’ll go into more detail below, but due to the amount of valuable items this material is used in we highly recommend creating storage to keep them in once obtained, if you do not already have some.
Dark-type Pals that drop Dark Fragment
Below you can find a list of Dark-type Pals that can drop Dark Fragment upon defeat:
- Kitsun Noct
- Splatterina
- Bellanoir
- Bellanoir Libero
- Celedsdir Noct
- Starryon
- Dazzi Noct
- Omascul
- Solenne
Remember, Dark-type Pals are weak to Dragon-types. If you’re headed out to tackle any of the Pals on the list above, take a mixture of strong Dragon-type Pals with you to help you take them down. Some Pals you could consider taking are Azurobe, Silvegis, or Eidrolon.
Breed and Disassemble Pals
Another option is to breed any of the Dark-type Pals on the list above and then pass them through a Pal Disassembly Conveyor to collect the materials they can drop. This includes Dark Fragment. The Pal Disassembly Conveyor unlocks at tier 56 on the Technology Tree for a total of five points.
There are multiple breeding options for some of the Pals above, but here are just a few that can help you get started:
- Anubis + Reptyro = Splatterina
- Wumpo + Whalaska = Splatterina
- Relaxaurus + Quivern = Starryon
- Anubis + Elizabee = Omascul
- Reptyro + Quivern = Omascul
Not every Pal on the list above can be bred from other Pal combinations. Some, like Bellanoir, will need two parents of their same type (Bellanoir + Bellanoir) to breed them.
