How to Get the Event Helmet in Broken Blade

The Event Helmet can be obtained by collecting the Black Cat Mystery Rewards. With the Explosion Update, the devs have added Black Cats to the game that spawn in random locations on all islands. When you find and interact with them, you’ll receive various Mystery Rewards (just like you do when you pick up Gubby).

Every time you pick up a Black Cat, there’s a chance that you’ll also get an Event Helmet. The exact chance is unknown but fairly high, making it easier for you to farm tons of Event Helmets with minimal grind.

Here are the locations where you’ll find tons of Black Cats to farm Event Helmets easily:

  • Origin Island
  • Niflheim
  • Nidavellir
  • Explosion
  • Jotunheim

1x Event Helmet is needed to summon the Headless Knight once. Collect at least 100 Event Helmets before heading to the Explosion Island. That should allow you to set up the Auto-Spawn for long enough to get all the possible drops.

Where to Use the Event Helmet in Broken Blade

The Event Helmet is a summon currency required to spawn the Headless Knight Event Boss. Use any teleport portal to go to the Explosion Island and then interact with the Summon Headless Knight altar to access the Headless Knight Boss summon menu.

The boss currently only has one difficulty level (Nightmare) and requires 1x Event Helmet to spawn. If you don’t want to spawn the Headless Knight boss after every fight manually, use the Auto button and select the number of Event Helmets equal to the number of times you want to spawn him.
