How to get Marathon Twitch Drops

The team at Bungie has been on lockdown, poking and prodding at Marathon to get it ready for gamers after the initial beta test left folks a little nonplussed. With the game dropping very soon, and people eager to jump back in and try it out, it’s time ot make sure that you are set up to get some nice free items through the joy of Twitch Drops.

How to get Marathon Twitch Drops

Twitch Drops are promotional items that companies will give away in conjunction with Amazon’s Twitch streaming service, and they have been a pretty standard part of the gaming landscape. Bungie is jumping on board with Marathon, and you can get your hands on some free in-game items by following a few simple steps.

Sign in to your Bungie account.
Under your Avatar in the top right corner, select Settings.
In the list of tabs on the left side, select «Account Linking.»
Scroll to the Twitch section, and link your accounts by clicking the button and signing into your Twitch account when prompted.
Tune in and watch streams that have Drops Enabled. This will be clearly stated in the stream titles. You will need to watch for specific, cumulative durations, listed below.
Then, go to the Inventory page on Twitch and claim your rewards.

Upcoming Twitch Drops for the Marathon Server Slam

The next batch of drops will be available during the Marathon Server Slam, which will be running from Thursday, February 26, until Monday, March 2.
