How to Get the Moonlit Mutation in Grow a Garden
Grow a Garden has different kinds of weather events happening at random intervals. These include rainy weather, thunderstorms, and more. However, the latest addition to the cycles is Nighttime, when it literally turns dark. This is also when plants will get the new Grow a Garden Mutation called Moonlit.
Thankfully, this method doesn’t require you to spend anything. All you have to do is wait for the nighttime and hope some of your crops are struck with the Moonlit mutation. However, there is a way to speed up this process and almost guarantee the mutation in some plants. Keep reading down below.
This can be done by obtaining the Night Staff in Grow a Garden. For those unaware, the new staff is one of the rewards from the new Grow a Garden Lunar event. As such, you can’t get it from the gear shop. You can learn how to get the staff using our linked guide above.
Once you have it, place it anywhere in your garden. During a night event, the Night Staff will grant any six random crops the Moonlit mutation.
All Uses of Moonlit Mutation in Grow a Garden
The Moonlit mutation in Grow a Garden has two specific uses. Put simply, you can either give the mutated crops to the Wise Owl for the Lunar event or simply sell them for profit.
The Moonlit mutation gives affected crops 2x sale value, making it a great value multiplier if you can get it on scarce crops like the Moon Blossom, which sells for 35,000 Sheckles each without any mutation.
