The Dusk Stone is one of multiple items required for the evolution of specific Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, but unlike most Evolution Items, the Dusk Stone is quite difficult to get your hands on initially. That’s because the Dusk Stone is one of four Evolution Stones that is not sold at the Stone Emporium during the main story of Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

How to get the Dusk Stone in Pokémon Legends Z-A
The Dusk Stone is an Evolution Item in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, but like the Shiny Stone and Dawn Stone, it’s not super easy to get your hands on. The only methods of acquiring a Dusk Stone in Lumiose City are:
- A reward from Side Mission 83 — Honedge’s Cutting Edge, which is unlocked during Main Mission 26.
- Purchasable from the Stone Emporium for $3,000 during the post-game.
- Found around Lumiose City as loot.
As you can see, the two most foolproof ways of getting your hands on a Dusk Stone – Side Mission 83 and the Stone Emporium – aren’t available until quite late into the game. If you don’t fancy waiting, you’ll need to explore Lumiose City and find a Dusk Stone as loot.

Dusk Stone location #1
The first Dusk Stone can be found behind Quasartico Inc, sitting on the floor in a corner between two buildings. This is, by far, the easiest Dusk Stone to quickly grab in Lumiose City.
Dusk Stone location #2
The second Dusk Stone is found south of Wild Zone 14, atop some scaffolding shown below.
Dusk Stone location #3
The third Dusk Stone is found just around the corner from Restaurant Le Wow in Rouge Sector 2. From the Restaurant, take a right and climb up the scaffolding here. You’ll then need to jump down from the middle portion of the scaffolding and onto one of the scaffolding’s lower ledges to access this Dusk Stone.
Dusk Stone location #4
The fourth Dusk Stone is found on the rooftop of a building in Jaune Sector 2, directly to the left of the Justice Dojo. From the Justice Dojo, head right to find a ladder leading to the rooftops.
Dusk Stone location #5
The fifth Dusk Stone is found on a rooftop in Vert Sector 4, hiding behind one of the chimneys here. You’ll need to use the nearby Holovators to access these rooftops.
Dusk Stone location #6
The sixth and final Dusk Stone is found on the rooftop south of Restaurant Le Nah, which is along the South Boulevard in Vert Sector 6. There is fortunately a ladder along the side of this building that takes you directly to the Dusk Stone.
Pokémon that evolve using Dusk Stone in Pokémon Legends Z-A
There are only two Pokémon that evolve using the Dusk Stone in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and they’re as follows:
- Evolves Lampent into Chandelure
- Evolves Doublade into Aegislash
