This guide tells how to get Water in Forever Skies with several different methods along with strategies for ensuring you have a good supply of Water.
How to Get Water in Forever Skies
There are 5 ways to get Water in Forever Skies:
- Collect Dirty Water from the air with a Water Condenser or Pipe Water Generator
- Collect Dirty Water from the rain with a Rainwater Collector
- Collect Dirty Water from standing pools or Rainwater Collectors on points of interest
- Find Old Canned Water or Old Isotonic Drink
- Eating certain foods can also restore your Water stat
Generally speaking, using the Water Condenser should be reserved for desperate situations since you need to waste crafting materials making the Condenser Membranes that allow the Water Condenser to collect Water. Passively collecting rainwater with a lot of Rainwater Collectors is the more efficient option in the early game.
If you know where to look in the late-game story, you’ll be able to find the Pipe Water Generator. This device creates an infinite supply of Dirty Water; all you need to do is periodically empty it so it can continue collecting water.
As you might expect, drinking Dirty Water is a very bad idea in Forever Skies; you run the risk of catching a Virus and getting some debuffs as a result. You can convert Dirty Water into Clean Water using a Water Purifier, a device that you have access to at the very start of the game.
The best thing you can do overall is try to always have a few units of Clean Water on hand at all times; if you start running low, you should begin to collect and purify Dirty Water before it becomes a serious problem. You can supplement your supply by holding onto any Old Canned Water you find as an emergency backup.
