The dangers of space. Space might be the final frontier, but in Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions, there is a whole host of flora and fauna that is already out there, waiting for you to show up so they can take a chunk out of you. If you have been on the bad end of a giant frog or an exploding carrot, then this is what you need to do to heal yourself. There are a few different ways to heal yourself in Starseeker: Astroneer, some of which will be more easily available than others. I’ll run through some of the ways to do it, but ultimately, the key is to play carefully. Alien worlds are strange and weird, and as you get used to the game, you will just end up dying a bit, and that is okay. Just don’t die too much, as you want to make it out of each expedition with the goodies you find. Life Fruit can be found on things that look for all the world like Palm Trees as you explore each expedition. Life Fruit grows on these trees, and if you have taken some damage, you can eat them to heal. Just select it and then use it to heal, but try not to do so while being actively attacked, as there is a brief animation to get through. Medi-Mash is a craftable item that you can make on the space station between expeditions. Each one will need 5 Resin to make. You can find Resin during your expeditions by pressing the M button to open your map, then R to scan. Mark a resin resource cluster when it pops up, then make your way over and use your Multitool to harvest it. You can find the crafting stations on the left side of the main console, where you launch your expeditions from. Just run up the ramp and interact with one to get a list of items you can make, along with the resources needed to make them. A Medi-Mash takes 5 Resin to make.
