How to make glass in Moonlight Peaks
To make glass in Moonlight Peaks you need to put two pieces of Quartz Dust and one piece of Charcoal into a Furnace. Once you’ve done that, you simply need to wait for the materials to be processed and you’ll have glass!
1. Make Quartz Dust
You need two pieces of Quartz Dust for one piece of glass. You can make Quartz Dust from Rose Quartz, and we’ve got a complete page detailing how to get Quartz Dust step by step.

2. Build Furnace
If you’ve not got one already, you need to build a Furnace to process these materials into glass. You’ll get the Furnace blueprint from Ridge during the ‘A Croak and a Crest’ main story quest.
To build a Furnace, you’ll need:
- 15 Copper Ore
- 5 Refined Stone
Place this somewhere accessible once built.

3. Make Charcoal
Charcoal is one of those nice and easy materials to make. All you have to do is put Wood into the Furnace and it’ll create Charcoal in a matter of minutes. You need one piece of Charcoal per piece of Wood.
Charcoal is in a lot of recipes, so making bulk batches and storing them is worth the effort.

4. Make glass
All you have to do now is put two pieces of Quartz Dust and one piece of Charcoal into your Furnace to get glass. Remember, the more glass you want to make, the more of these materials you’ll need to process.
