How to make Sugar in Moonlight Peaks
To make Sugar in Moonlight Peaks you need to place one piece of Sugarbone into a Mill for two pieces of Sugar. The hardest part of this process is saving up enough Coins to get a Mill!
1. Get a Mill
You can buy a Mill for 8,000 Coins from Ridge at Howling Hammer. This building is available from the moment you move to Moonlight Peaks, but it may take some time to save up enough Coins to purchase it.
Once you’ve bought it from Ridge, you need to choose a place for it to go on your farm and then Ridge will start building. It will take two nights to complete.
2. Grow or find Sugarbone
You can get Sugarbone seeds from Luna’s Seed Stall in Moonlit Pines for 50 Coins. Also you can sometimes find Sugarbone growing out in the wild in the Howling Marshes.
If you’re growing from seed, Sugarbone takes 5 nights to grow. However, Sugarbone will only be available and grow during Spring and Summer. This means that you should make as much as you can, then store it away safely to use in the other two seasons.
3. Make Sugar
All you have to do now is interact with the Mill and place your Sugarbone in it to create Sugar. If you interact with the Mill after placing the materials in, you’ll be able to see how much longer is left for them to process at the top of the little pop-out menu that appears.
