Make it rain. As part of a major story quest in Pokémon Pokopia, you will need to raise the humidity in the start area of Withered Wasteland for Slowpoke. There are a lot of ways to do this, and here are a few of them. There are a lot of things that you will need to do to raise the humidity. To check your progress, talk to Slowpoke and ask him to yawn for you. The closer you are to a 100 score, the better, as that is our target for this quest. Simply watering plants and trees is a solid way to increase the humidity. Use the Water Gun ability to do so, and make sure you hit trees, plants, and grass while doing so to add more points to the score. There will be some blocks in the wall that have droplets of water escaping. You can break these open by using the Rock Smash ability from Hitmonchan. This will then allow the water to flood into some ponds and streams. Make sure you smash any bits of earth that are blocking those routes as well. Large flowerbed habitats, called a field of flowers, consisting of a row of 8×2 flowers, are a great way to add humidity. You can buy flower seeds at the PC console, and if you have Bulbasaur with you, he will help the flowers to bloom quicker that to his Grow ability. You can purchase a Horsea Fountain from the PC Shop for 50 Coins. You can then place it in one of the ponds beneath the stream at the starting area, which will cause water to splash around and increase the humidity. Planting tall grass near water will create another humid habitat that brings you closer to your goal. This habitat is called Hydrated Tall Grass. Make sure you talk to nearby Pokémon that have speech bubbles, as they will often have mini quests and suggestions on how to make it more humid. It’s especially worth keeping an eye on Squirtle, as he is a Water-type, afterall.
