To repair your ship in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, you have a few options, from relying on the handiwork of your crew to paying a Harbourmaster to do the work for you. Either way, you never want to leave the Jackdaw in disrepair for long as this puts you and your crew at risk of being sinked by enemy ships, and you’ll never rule the seas if you let that happen!

How to repair the ship in AC Black Flag Resynced
If you’re sailing the seas and your ship is in need of repair in Black Flag Resynced, there are three ways to go about it depending on how far you are from land, and just how badly your ship needs repairing. These are as follows:
- Board enemy ships and use their resources for repairs.
- Pay a Harbourmaster for repairs.
- Leave your Crew to repair the ship over time.
The first way of repairing your ship is by engaging in combat with and boarding enemy ships, which means killing plenty of sailors upon boarding to decrease the enemy crew’s morale. Once you’ve successfully taken control of the enemy ship, you’ll be prompted to repair the Jackdaw using the loot you find – for free – if you wish.
The downside of this method of repairing your ship is that you need to defeat and board an enemy ship to do so, which may not be possible if your ship is already looking worse for wear. Fortunately, there’s two more options for you!
The second way of repairing your ship is by returning to land and speaking with a Harbourmaster (such as the first one you encounter in Salt Key Bank) and paying them to repair your ship. These fellows are found on the Dock at any major location in the game, and in my experience, repairs cost 250 Reales per missing bar of ship health. This isn’t tricky to come by as a pirate, but it’s not as good as repairing your ship free of charge!
The third and final way of repairing your ship is by simply doing nothing and letting your Crew get to work. This will only happen if you’ve been out of combat for a while, and you’ll know it’s happening when you can hear your crew hammering away at the ship. While this option is completely free and requires no work from yourself, it’s also slow and unreliable, so if you wish to take to the seas and continue questing or taking part in sea battles, you’ll want to go for one of the former options for repairing the Jackdaw.
