How to Start New Game Plus
To unlock New Game Plus, you must first beat the game. Once you’ve deposited enough currency during the final level, you’ll have the option to end your run. Completing the run for the first time unlocks the New Game Plus mode, which you can select when starting a new game.
How Hats Work in New Game Plus
Upon entering New Game Plus for the first time, your character will immediately wear the NG+1 hat. You cannot manually switch between hats; the hat you wear is tied to your current NG+ cycle. Each full run you complete advances the cycle, and you’ll always wear the hat corresponding to that NG+ number. NG+6 and all subsequent cycles use the same hat as NG+5, meaning there are five unique hats to collect.
