Let’s not beat around the bush – we all love the absolute thirst trap designs of the Marvel Rivals characters. What’s more? The devs know this and are only doubling down on it. Don’t take my word for it – a recent update made several characters’ backsides bigger, Venom’s iconic cake is considered to be the unofficial mascot of the game, and NetEase even gave him a twerking emote.
To cap this off, NetEase recently introduced Marvel’s biggest thirst trap to the game, Emma Frost. The White Queen is known for her diamond skin, telepathic powers, and, of course, her great sense of fashion. In Marvel Rivals, though, she has the unique ability to cancel opponents’ ults by choke slamming them to the ground. It seems players absolutely love this, and are politely queuing up to get wrecked by her.
Marvel Rivals Players Can't Get Enough Of Emma Frost's Choke Slam
As pointed out by Redditname97, there’s at least one lobby where all the players involved are standing patiently in line to get choke slammed by Emma. In their video, the likes of Moon Knight, Namor, Starlord, and even Jeff can be seen waiting for their turn to be choke slammed by Emma Frost.
While this is a new level of thirstiness, the Marvel Rivals community has been known to put rivalries aside in order to do goofy stuff like this. We’ve already seen games like fastball volleyball with Wolverine, Hulk, and The Thing and playing Pong with Captain America and Magneto’s ranged attacks, so seeing hostilities being kept aside for a choke slam train isn’t too surprising.
However, this could also be a team working together to upgrade their respective Emma Frosts to Lord level. There are many reports of Emma Lord forming throughout the game as well. «At least we know how they people got lord on Emma Frost,» said one of the comments.
However, someone pointed out that you can’t get proficiency from the choke slam, «these mfs in the video are doing it for the love of the game and nothing else.
