The final two episodes of Dragon Ball Daima, which initially premiered in late February, revolved around the epic battle for the Demon Realm between Goku and King Gomah. In the final episodes, King Gomah transformed himself into an unstoppable behemoth with the unbelievable powers of the Evil Third Eye (not to be confused with the Evil Eye in Dandadan). He then transformed the First Demon World into a floating battlefield fitting for his earth-shattering fight between Goku and his friends.

Gomah — now known as Giant Gomah — overwhelmed the mini-Z-warriors with his newfound strength and never-ending stamina. Even little Goku in his Super Saiyan 3 form couldn’t keep up with Gomah’s incredible might. However, in the latest English dub release, Goku received a jaw-dropping power boost from a brand-new friend — a power-up so shocking to longtime anime fans that it had to be seen to be believed. The one-hour finale of Dragon Ball Daima, set for next week, is currently the final animated project for the 40-year-old franchise.

release of Dragon Ball Super Chapter 104, the manga by the late Toriyama and artist Toyotarou returned to its hiatus status in V-Jump magazine. However, Toyotarou confirmed that Dragon Ball Super will return with a new and original storyline. Dragon Ball Super Volume 24, «A Legacy Toward the Future,» teased the long-awaited return of Black Frieza and a new group dynamic featuring Gohan Beast and the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly.

All episodes of Dragon Ball Daima, the franchise’s newest anime iteration, are available to stream on Crunchyroll. The English dub, starring Stephanie Nadolny as Goku (Mini), began premiering one new episode per week from Jan. 10. «Goku and company were living peaceful lives when they suddenly turned small due to a conspiracy!» the series’ official description reads. «When they discover that the reason for this may lie in a world known as the ‘Demon Realm,’ a mysterious young Majin named Glorio appears before them.»
