The final member of the DC Trinity will get a solo DC Universe movie after all. DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn has offered a major update on Wonder Woman’s big screen future.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly about his Superman reboot, Gunn confirmed that a new Wonder Woman movie was in early development at DC Studios. «Wonder Woman‘s a separate thing» to the already announced Paradise Lost HBO/Max series, which is «slow moving, but it’s moving,» Gunn revealed. «We’re working on Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman‘s being written right now.» The DC head did not sure, however, who is writing the screenplay for the third live-action Wonder Woman, which is not expected to be connected to the Gal Gadot-led duology.
