Do you fancy going hands-on with the riotous action-horror John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando before it launches in March? We’ve got good news: a free demo is coming to Steam on 19th February. From then until 2nd March, you’ll be able to jump into a slice of the game and get a taste of what to expect, no purchase necessary.

And what you can expect is a whole load of gory mayhem, quite honestly. This four-player co-op experience is about surviving a zombie apocalypse, but there’s a big focus on gloriously gruesome guts. It’s not a game for the squeamish, but if you like your action games to be bloody and gloopy, this is definitely the one for you.

Along with news of the upcoming demo, developer Saber Interactive has also released a new trailer, providing a new look at gameplay. The three minute, 46 second trailer gives us a look at game modes, characters and what playing actually entails. Watch the John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando Gameplay Overview trailer below:

Look good? You don’t have to wait too much longer to play. That free demo will be available in just two weeks, on 19th February. And the full game, coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, launches on 12th March. Pre-orders are available now, and if you do pre-order, you’ll get access to the Leon’s Secret Stash DLC absolutely free.
