Steel Ball Run’s Anime Adaptation is Highly Anticipated

Part 7 of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is One Of the Most Loved Parts of the Series

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is definitely one of the most iconic anime and manga series in the world. While the anime adaptations of this series are rather recent, the manga itself is quite old, with the first chapter dating back to 1987.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is no ordinary series, however, and it’s characterized by its interesting concept where a new protagonist takes the reins in each part.

So far, the manga has 9 parts, with 6 having been animated. And now, Steel Ball Run, which is JoJo Part 7, has already been confirmed for an anime. This news has been huge for the series, especially as Steel Ball Run is one of the most beloved parts of the series, with many considering it to be the best part of the series.

The Anime Adaptation of Steel Ball Run Just Got a Huge Update

The Official Staff For JoJo Part 7 Has Been Revealed

Anime Expo 2025 is ongoing, and JoJo Part 7 had its own stage. A ton of exciting information about JoJo Part 7 was also revealed.

While some were disappointed about no JoJo Part 7 release date update, the event still gave fans a big reveal or two.

Based on what was revealed, Yasuhiro Kimura and Hideya Takahashi are going to be in charge of direction, both of whom worked on Golden Wind. The series director is none other than Toshiuki Kato. The series structure is taken care of by Yasuko Kobayashi, who is not a new name. As for character design, Golden Wind’s Daisuke Tsumagari is making a comeback. Yugo Kanno is once again in charge of the music, along with Yoshikazu Iwanami taking care of Sound Direction.

The staff that will be working on this iconic part has been revealed, and the news is amazing. This is primarily because of the return of the staff that previously worked on Part 5, Golden Wind.

Golden Wind was, by far, the best-produced part of the entire series. It had the best animation and direction. Compared to it, Stone Ocean was a downgrade. So, the fact that the series is returning to such a great staff is a great sign that Steel Ball Run will be amazing.
