In a shocking twist, Kugisaki Nobara finally returns to the JJK storyline, but this time in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, the spinoff set seven decades after the main story ended. Yes, in the latest Chapter 13 of Modulo, it was quite the surprise to see her unprecedented cameo.
One of the most tragic events in the Shibuya Incident arc of Jujutsu Kaisen was Kugisaki Nobara’s supposed death. After her grave injury from Mahito, she was totally sidelined and disappeared from the story.
But in chapter 267, it turns out she was alive after all, where she assisted Yuji in defeating Sukuna, along with other sorcerers. They stripped Sukuna of his vessel and caused him to be destroyed, leading to his final defeat. But now that she is again in Mudulo, what’s her age?
How Old is Nobara in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo?
When Nobara was first introduced in Jujutsu Kaisen, she was just a 16-year-old teenager, accompanied by Megumi and, later, Yuji as fellow jujutsu sorcerers. Now, since the timeline of Modulo takes place 68 years after the main story ended, Nobara would at least be 84+ years old.
The fact that she showed up this late is huge, but based on how the chapter portrayed her, it’s clear that her age is starting to catch up. Though, since this is a shonen power-fantasy series, her appearance may still look relatively young, something that often happens in similar stories. But don’t let that fool you. She might be far more powerful than what the chapter has revealed so far, and the next one could show exactly that.

Nobara Confirms Yuji’s True Curse That Sets Up a Major Event
Nobara’s return came with a huge twist after the main storyline ended, mainly because it connects the original series directly to Modulo from Yuji’s perspective. She confirms that Yuji is certainly still alive and that it is his true curse. Now, doesn’t that make so much sense?
Her unexpected appearance was already a surprise for the fans, and even after that, she drops the reveal that immortality has actually been a curse for Yuji. But why so, you ask? Well, it’s simple because he’s had to watch everyone he ever cared about die. He’s basically broken at this point, like a wandering soul with no purpose left.
It’s even hurting when you remember his grandfather’s wish. He wished Yuji to have a good death surrounded by loved ones. But that never came true. Yuji is still alive, even though he doesn’t want to be, especially after losing everything and everyone he ever loved.
And now that Nobara is back, fans are even more excited about what she will reveal next about Yuji. We’re all waiting to see if Nobara appears again soon in Modulo, but honestly? What we’re hoping for even more is a full, proper return from Yuji himself in the upcoming chapters.
