When shopping, some of you might get the bad luck of encountering a Karen in the wild. For this Florida man, he actually got into a quarrel with a Karen after she demanded that he move his cart. The video began with the staff already being called over. The woman explained that she wanted the man to move his cart, but he refused. The man then said that he was just minding his own business when the woman showed up.

The Florida Karen then interrupted him, saying that she had very nicely asked him to step aside. The man denied this, insisting that the woman was actually being very rude by simply demanding that he move his cart and not saying excuse me. He then explained that the woman said she refused to say excuse me before beginning to shout insults his way.
The Florida Karen became defensive, claiming that he deserved it because he refused to move his cart. The staff said that there was no need to escalate the situation like that, but the woman still insisted she was in the right. The man retorted that the woman could have just said excuse me in the first place and avoided this whole situation altogether. The staff also seemed to agree with the man’s assessment. The Florida Karen just dug into her stance and used obscenities again.
Online, internet users mocked the woman for her impatience and lack of manners. The majority sided with the man and praised how he dealt with the Florida Karen. “Boomers be boomin,” one user said. Others praised the staff for actually siding with the man and not the Florida Karen, as they could easily see that it was the woman escalating the situation by using obscenities. “Kudos to the employee for not asking him to move his cart,” one user wrote.
Some users, however, did not appreciate the way the man was acting at the store. While they did not agree with how the woman was cursing at the man, they said that blocking the path in an aisle was not okay at all. “There’s a lot of times I’ve witnessed people taking up more space than necessary, making themselves a clear obstacle and seeing others but not moving unless excuse me is said. Me? If I see someone approaching, I’m making space, you don’t even gotta ask! I got eyes and a brain,” one commenter wrote.
