Streamer and influencer boxer DeenTheGreat has been arrested in Miami-Dade County on a felony attempted robbery charge following an alleged dispute over a woman’s phone during a yacht party.

DeenTheGreat, real name Nurideen Shabazz, is a Kick streamer and YouTuber known for IRL streams, online feuds, and appearances in the influencer boxing scene. His YouTube channel currently lists more than 580,000 subscribers, while his Kick channel boasts over 115k followers.

According to jail records obtained by TMZ, Shabazz was booked Wednesday morning at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami. Records listed the charge as robbery/strongarm/attempt, with bond marked as “to be set” at the time of the report.

According to a police report, officers responded after a woman named Destiny Aleman claimed Deen tried taking her phone after kicking her off a yacht. Deen and former boxing champion Adrien Broner were in the middle of a 24-hour stream when the altercation took place.

At around 8 hours and 5 minutes into the live stream, Broner is seen speaking with Aleman on a couch when she says, “This conversation is going to get me in trouble,” before pointing toward Deen, who is off camera.

A few moments later, Deen walks in saying, “B*tch, don’t know your place. Get out my yacht, b*tch,” grabbing Aleman by the wrist in an attempt to pull her off the couch. Broner claims he was testing her, to which Deen responded she was “bad for business.”

The arrest was not live-streamed, as Deen disappeared around an hour after the initial altercation before Broner entertained viewers and ultimately cut the marathon short.

Aleman reportedly told officers Deen became upset because other men were trying to speak to her, despite him allegedly warning her not to entertain anyone else during the trip. After leaving the yacht, Aleman began recording him on her phone, at which point Shabazz allegedly grabbed her forearm and tried to snatch the device, leaving a minor scratch.

The yacht owner voluntarily gave police Ring camera footage from the property. Police said the video allegedly showed Shabazz yelling for someone to take Aleman’s phone so she could not record him, then putting his hands on her multiple times while trying to grab the device as she attempted to get away.

Police also said the footage showed Aleman curling up on the ground while trying to protect the phone before eventually breaking free.

The arrest comes after a turbulent run of viral moments for the streamer. In April, fellow creator Omer Majid claimed on a GoFundMe that he was assaulted by “deenthegreat” and suffered a broken nose, facial fracture, chipped tooth, and stitches.

In February, Deen also went viral after livestreamed incidents involving Larry Wheels and former UFC fighter Tiki Ghosn.
