During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on January 29, a fan asked Kyle about the “one moment” she wished cameras hadn’t caught. Her answer came fast. The Season 1 limo scene with her sister Kim Richards topped the list, and she didn’t hesitate to call it “a no-brainer.”

The Limo Scene That Still Haunts Kyle

That infamous car ride happened during Season 1, Episode 13 of RHOBH, when Kyle, Kim, and Adrienne Maloof were heading home from an event. Tensions exploded between the sisters, with Kim accusing Kyle of stealing “her house.” The argument was raw, personal, and uncomfortable to watch, even years later.

Andy Cohen reminded Kyle Richards that the limo fight was actually how they first met. Their initial conversation centered around that very incident. But Kyle wasn’t finished sharing her regrets. She brought up the Season 5 Amsterdam blowout between Kim and Lisa Rinna, during which a wine glass was smashed during a heated confrontation.

Kyle remembered running out as Rinna broke the glass, calling it another moment that should’ve stayed off-screen.

Looking back at that limo fight, Kyle Richards penned a blog post for BravoTV in January 2011, expressing how difficult the experience was. She admitted that problems between her and Kim had been building off-camera, and she brought those feelings into filming because hiding emotions isn’t her strong suit. Watching it play out again made the whole thing even harder.

Where Kyle Richards and Kim Stand Today

Thankfully, the sisters are doing much better now. Kyle gave an update at BravoCon 2025, revealing that Kim is “good” since relocating from California to Florida. The distance hasn’t weakened their family bond, either.

Kyle stays connected with Kim’s kids and grandchildren, describing Kim’s grandkids as “the most beautiful” she’s ever seen. She attended a Halloween event at Kim’s granddaughter’s school and loved being part of those family moments.

The Season 15 cast of RHOBH includes Kyle, Erika Jayne, Sutton Stracke, Bozoma Saint John, and Dorit Kemsley. Newcomers Rachel Zoe and Amanda Frances have joined, while Jennifer Tilly and Kathy Hilton return as friends.
