According to a most recent leak from @ShiinaBR and @FNBRintel on X, Luna Snow and Magik from Marvel Rivals are coming to Fortnite soon, making up Wave 2 of skins from NetEase’s popular hero shooter. From streamers like IShowSpeed to characters from iconic sitcoms like South Park, Fortnite has been pumping out popular crossovers ever since Chapter 7: Season 1 began, and it looks like a Marvel Rivals collaboration is next for the free-to-play title.
Luna Snow & Magik Join Fortnite This Valentine’s Day
Leaks not only suggest that Luna Snow and Magik from Marvel Rivals are joining Fortnite, but @AdiraFNInfo has also confirmed on X that the collaboration will arrive around this year’s Valentine’s Day. The release window for this specific collaboration is not coincidental, as many fans have shipped Luna Snow and Magik from the game.

Even the leaker has acknowledged the ship by saying that this collab “is for the shippers,” so Epic Games certainly knows what it’s doing by releasing it around Valentine’s Day. It’s unclear whether Luna and Magik’s designs will be based on their hero-shooter counterparts or the source material, with @Rivals_Leaks leaning towards the former on X.
Magik’s Marvel Rivals design isn’t too far from the comics. However, when it comes to Luna Snow, she originally debuted as a character in Netmarble’s mobile game, Marvel Future Fight, in 2018, and her design in that game is significantly different from her Rivals counterpart.
Only time will tell how they’ll look when they join Fortnite’s Item Shop, and whether they’ll have styles that players can equip. This won’t be Fortnite’s first rodeo with Marvel Rivals, as Doom 2099 from the game was added back in Chapter 6: Season 1, along with his cosmetics and a Glider based on Galacta.
Fortnite Needs More Marvel Rivals Crossovers
Fortnite already has numerous Marvel skins in the game, but when it comes to Marvel Rivals skins, Luna Snow and Magik join Doom 2099. That certainly needs to be fixed, as NetEase’s hero-shooter game features some gorgeous designs for characters that haven’t appeared in Fortnite yet, such as Iron Fist and Cloak and Dagger, among others.
Despite being a well-designed skin, Doom 2099 was lacklustre for the first-ever Marvel Rivals skin in Fortnite, because he’s not even playable in the hero-shooter, and there were better characters and designs to choose from. Thankfully, with Rivals’ growing roster, it seems like Epic has realised that they need to add more characters from it.
While Fortnite has collaborated multiple times with Marvel, bringing iconic looks from both comics and the MCU, it has not yet fully tapped into the reimagined and stylised designs from Marvel Rivals. Doom 2099 was just the beginning, and we hope that Luna Snow and Magik continue the trend of bringing Marvel Rivals characters to Fortnite.
