- How to Find Rosaura’s Shoes
Lies of P: Overture adds a handful of new NPCs to meet, and most of them offer a side quest. Rosaura is a young girl that players meet at the carnival, who has unfortunately lost her shoes and would like your help in finding them.
While the shoes aren’t far from where you meet Rosaura, finding them isn’t the only objective in her side quest. In fact, Rosaura’s side quest spans throughout the entire DLC and will take players a while to complete.
This guide will walk you through how to complete Rosaura’s quest in Lies of P: Overture. You’ll learn how to find her shoes, which locations she appears in, and the rewards for completing the entire quest.
Rosaura's First Location
Players first meet Rosaura at the Carnival Garden Stargazer in Chapter 1 of Lies of P: Overture. She is located right next to the Stargazer, sitting on a pile of briefcases next to the carnival entrance.
Speak to Rosaura, and she will mention that she lost her shoes and would like you to help her find them. Agree to help, which will officially start the first step in Rosaura’s side quest.
How to Find Rosaura's Shoes
Rosaura’s shoes can be found in the carnival area in Chapter 1 of Lies of P: Overture. Head to the large Ferris Wheel and wait for it to turn and reveal a cart that has an opening, allowing you to climb onto the cart.
Once you’re on the Ferris Wheel, wait for it to turn almost 360 degrees and there will be a platform you can jump on. Jump on this platform and continue down the walkway until you reach the top of the Merry Go Round.
On top of the Merry Go Round, there is a hole that you can drop down to reach the area with the mechanical horses going in a circle. In the back right corner of this area is a treasure chest that contains Rosaura’s shoes. Loot the shoes and return them to Rosaura.
Rosaura will be very pleased with your help and will reward you with «Rosaura’s Treasure: Piece of a Drawing» and the Lisrim Record that you can play on the gramophone at Hotel Krat.
Rosaura's Second Location
After the carnival, Rosaura appears at the Pistris Harbor Stargazer in Chapter 3 of Lies of P: Overture. She is located right next to the Stargazer, sitting on a wooden box.
This part of the quest is really simple as all you need to do is talk to Rosaura and exhaust her dialogue.
After you finish speaking to her, she’ll reward you with the Heart Gesture, «Rosaura’s Treasure: Ruins Secret Gathering Invitation», and «Rosaura’s Treasure: Second Piece of a Drawing.»
Rosaura's Third Location
Rosaura appears next at the lighthouse in Chapter 4 of Lies of P: Overture. To reach her location, teleport to the Krat’s Lighthouse Stargazer and make your way to the very top of the lighthouse. Next, climb down the ladder outside to find Rosaura.
Like the previous step, all you need to do here is speak to Rosaura and exhaust her dialogue. Once you do that, she’ll reward you with the «Rosaura’s Treasure: Photo of the Tree of Friendship.»
The painting she hands to you is a clue to the final location in Rosaura’s side quest.
How to Complete Rosaura's Quest in Lies of P: Overture
Before we head to Rosaura’s final location to complete her side quest in Lies of P: Overture, there is one important thing to know. You must complete the DLC before she appears at the final location. Yes, this means beating the final boss.
After defeating the final boss of Lies of P: Overture, players need to teleport to the Krat City Hall Stargazer. This Stargazer is located in Chapter 2 of the base game for Lies of P.
Continue forward from this Stargazer, and right before entering the large cathedral, take a left to find the tree from Rosaura’s painting. Rosaura is located to the left of this tree, so approach and speak to her.
After exhausting Rosaura’s dialogue here, she will reward you with «Rosaura’s Treasure: Last Piece of a Drawing.» This will allow you to see the full painting, combining all the pieces she previously gave you in the side quest.
Rosaura’s full painting shows an image of her family, which she obviously doesn’t have anymore. It’s a sad ending to her quest, but also one that expands the lore of the dark and disturbing world of Lies of P.
