Love Island USA season 7’s Olandria Carthen coupled up with Taylor Williams quickly and though they seem stable, the drama she’s stirring up on the show has many wondering about her life outside the villa. Olandra is one of the original Love Island USA season 7 cast members, having joined the season during the first day of filming. As one of the first two ladies to enter the villa, coming in alongside Chelley Bissainthe, Olandria was able to get the lay of the land on Love Island USA quickly, making it clear that she was there for a genuine match.
While Olandria may have matched up quickly with Taylor, it’s clear that she’s open to moving around if she finds someone who she feels is a better fit. The self-proclaimed Bama Barbie is excited for the opportunity to get to know everyone in the Love Island USA season 7 cast, and as she’s been moving through the season, it’s clear that she’s enjoying finding commonalities with everyone she meets. Even though she’s stuck by Taylor’s side, Olandria is ready to have fun by any means necessary, which proves that outside the Love Island villa, she’s someone worth getting to know.

While Love Island USA doesn’t have an age limit, the cast members are typically in their 20s and range anywhere from 22 to 27. The majority of Love Island USA cast members are in their mid-20s, looking for love after finishing school and landing a job where they’re able to settle down a bit more efficiently. While Olandria is someone who makes time for fun in her life, she’s also looking for a chance at love on Love Island USA, hopefully with someone who’s truly suited for her. At 27 years old, she’s one of the oldest Islanders this season.

Olandria shared that she currently works as a sales professional in the elevator industry, and after doing a bit of digging, her job has become more clear. As a sales associate at Otis Elevator Co., Olandria works with businesses who are looking to update the technology side of their elevator experiences, as well as other urban movement devices, like moving sidewalks. As a sales associate, Olandria has to be able to work well with others and communicate, which she’s proven throughout her time in the Love Island USA villa. It also appears Olandria’s done a bit of modeling, as well.

Although she’s not as frequent a poster as some other Love Island USA cast members, Olandria shares often enough on her Instagram, working hard to keep her ers informed and interested in what’s going on in her life. Sharing photos from her day-to-day, Olandria is often made up and ready to go out in the photos she shares online. Making it clear that she likes looking good and hopes others enjoy her fashion and beauty, Olandria is always put together online. She also has a TikTok, where she shares vlogs more frequently. Love Island USA Season 7's Olandria Carthen's Journey So Far
She's Been Matched Up With Taylor
Although Olandria has been matched up with Taylor throughout Love Island USA season 7 thus far, that doesn’t mean her journey has been easy. Olandria chose to match up with Taylor quickly during the opening night’s coupling, but after getting to know him for a few days, she decided to see what it would be like to kiss some of the other guys in the villa during a blindfolded kissing challenge. Olandria decided to stay with Taylor, but after she shared what she’d done with him, Taylor decided to stand up when the guys were asked about a new Bombshell.
While she was still interested in her connection with Taylor, it was clear that Olandira needed to solidify something with her Love Island USA season 7 sweetheart. After the pair talked about things, Olandria ultimately knew that she wanted to stick with Taylor. At the most recent recoupling, Taylor chose to stick with Olandria rather than switching up his match to someone else in the villa. Though the pair may not be the most well-suited match, it’s clear they’re happy building a foundation together, and could wind up being each other’s best possible option on Love Island USA season 7.
