Ludwig compared xQc to “Jekyll and Hyde” after meeting him in person at MrBeast’s $1 million creator event, saying he acts completely differently off camera.
50 major streamers linked up for the high-profile challenge hosted by MrBeast, giving creators who usually interact online a chance to spend time together in real life. Following the event, Ludwig shared his thoughts on xQc and the contrast between his on-stream and off-stream personality.
A viewer asked, “was xQc low-key chill?”, to which Ludwig said: “xQc is like Jekyll and Hyde. Because who xQc is on stream is a really brash person who can talk, off-cuff, incredibly negatively about people. People he knows in real life. He says, actually, some really mean, mean sh*t about people he knows in the real world.
“And then, you meet him in real life, and he treats the person who is online, saying those mean things, as a different person. He’s really sweet in real life. And it’s like, ‘Weren’t you just talking crazy s**t?’ But I think his brain is so corrupt, he views it all as content and not legitimate.”
Ludwig vs xQc
Ludwig’s comments came after several creators met up during the $1 million challenge, where streamers are challenged to stay inside a cube to win the money for their viewers.
Back in January 2025, xQc called out Ludwig for a similar thing. He claimed Lud changes his views on topics for “clout.”
“Ludwig would change his views even on the taste of water if there was enough clout to reach for it,” xQc said.
xQc has not publicly responded to Ludwig’s remarks at the time of writing.
