Marathon Details, Platforms, Preload, and Editions

Marathon is a multiplayer-only PvPvE extraction shooter set on the colony world of Tau Ceti IV. We play as cybernetic mercenaries known as Runners, who go into hostile zones to secure loot, complete contracts, and extract safely. Of course, all while contending with other players.
At launch, the game will be available on:
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X|S
- PC (via Steam)
Full cross-play and cross-save are supported, so you can squad up across platforms and carry your progress between systems.
and yes, Steam charts! In the end I think this is actually decent four day hold for a game that comes out in a few days and everyone knows they're losing everything. That plus pre-sales is *hopefully* a decent sign, we'll see pic.twitter.com/r6GpsoWiGM

Preload Information
Yes, Marathon supports preloading. The devs have confirmed that players who pre-order will be able to download the game ahead of release. We don’t know exactly when preloads start just yet. Once available, you can preload directly through your platform’s storefront or game library.
We can expect the game to be pretty crowded during launch, so if you want to skip the queues once the servers are live, pre-installing ahead of launch is strongly recommended.
