Modern Warfare 4 is set to introduce a unique multiplayer map that combines the very best maps from CoD history into one battleground.
After plenty of leaks and rumors, it’s finally been confirmed that Call of Duty 2026 is Modern Warfare 4, developed by Infinity Ward. It’s set to focus heavily on a conflict between North and South Korea, bringing back iconic characters like Captain Price and Ghost.
As always, it also brings a brand-new year of multiplayer, which means a fresh set of maps. Although the full lineup is yet to be revealed, the devs have shared details on a special map that sounds perfect for long-time fans.
MW4 Kill Block map changes as you play
During a preview event attended by CharlieIntel, Infinity Ward showed off a map titled Kill Block — a 6v6 battleground set inside a training facility and roughly the same size as Shoot House from MW 2019.
What makes this map unique, though, is that it’s different every time you play it, and it even evolves throughout a match.
The center portion changes over time, altering the layout to mimic past CoD maps. For example, it may start the match as Crash from the original Modern Warfare and end as Killhouse.

Meanwhile, both spawn areas also evolve as a match progresses, meaning that every round of modes like Search and Destroy forces you to adapt to a new-look map. There are over 500 different combinations at launch, so you’ll hardly ever play the same one twice.
It will only be available on certain modes when Modern Warfare 4 arrives on October 23, but Infinity Ward plans to bring it to all modes in the future.
