Playing the original game of Monopoly feels outdated in comparison to what you can do in Monopoly Go. For starters, you can expect there to be an event going on every single time you open the app, like the Full Bloom event. Monopoly Go Origins helps bring the board game to the mobile game by reintroducing something that we can all recognize: Pennybags’ black top hat. You’ll exchange the Top Hat Tokens for different milestone rewards to make this event and the ones right after it just a little easier.

Monopoly Go Origins Tips and Tricks
To earn the Top Hat tokens required to move forward in this event, you must land on Tax and Utility tiles. If you haven’t noticed, there aren’t that many tiles you can land on. As a result, ensure you have your multiplier toggled as high as it can. That way, when you do finally land on the right tile, you’ll earn more tokens faster. I had my multiplier toggled to either 10x or 20x most of the time, so I could easily breeze through the first few milestones.
This was all I could do to enjoy extra tokens because, unlike Railroad tiles, you can’t pick up Chance cards that automatically take you to the Utility or Tax tiles. I recommend purchasing extra dice rolls if you’re impatient and want to get the most out of the event before it ends.
