Moonstone Island: Spirits Evolution Guide

Moonstone Island, the creature-collecting life-sim, has just received its biggest update yet on June 17th 2025. The Evolutions patch is available now for PC and the Nintendo Switch introduces a brand-new evolution system for Spirits, fresh challenges such as a new boss battle as well as a deep mine and other exciting gameplay enhancements.     What Are Spirit Evolutions

    Spirits in Moonstone Island will now automatically get the chance to evolve once they level up enough. Evolved spirits unlock powerful new abilities, expanded card choices when levelling up (4 options instead of 3) as well as an additional element type that makes them double-y powerful against enemies.

    Once a Spirit reaches level 32, an “evo meter” will appear, tracking their progress toward evolution. Players can fill this meter by winning battles and playing that Spirit’s cards in combat. Upon reaching 1000 evo points, an Evo Stone (found on Psychic Islands) can be used to evolve a spirit.

    Ankylo Drakylo Fire / Earth Hot Temper: Every 3 turns, Drakylo gains 1 Rage and applies Burn equal to its Power to all enemies. Water
    Armbot Digbot Earth / Electric Dig Deep: When you enter a mine (new or old) with Digbot following, there is a 50% chance to open a Deep Mine Poison
    Barkbyte Darkbyte Dark / Electric Data Miner: While following you, this spirit allows up to 3 mines to be found on each island. Psychic
    Beardini Beardjinni Electric / Psychic Dizzy Discount: When Beardjini becomes Dizzy, reduce the cost of the top 3 cards in your draw pile by 1. Dark
    Bonguin Swaddlin Psychic / Ice Cozy Copy: Duplicate the first card you draw and restore 1 Armor each round. Earth
    Breadmaus Toastmaus Fire / Electric Toast Time: While Toastmaus is following you, food doesn’t burn. Water
    Brickhouse Darktower Dark / Earth Shadow Keep: If available, draw one Tackle card and one Ethereal card at the beginning of each turn. Psychic
    Burgloon Bagloon Ice / Electric Bag Secured: Increases chances of getting Moonstone as a battle reward. Fire
    Capacibee Psybee Psychic / Electric Neurocharge: The first time Psybee falls to 0 HP, its HP is restored to 30%, and it gains 10 Charge. Earth
    Claudio Squallio Electric / Water Static Storm: Whenever this Spirit applies Charge to itself, it distributes the same amount of Charge randomly between allies. Dark
    Darkoffee Toxee Poison / Dark Energy Drink: If you win a battle, refill your stamina by 50%. Ice
    Dusty Bombo Fire / Earth Mister Bombastic: When Bombo’s Armor is reduced to 0, it reduces a random enemy’s HP by 50%. Water
    Fangface Missileface Fire / Dark Devil Dice: At the start of your turn, gain between -3 and +5 Energy. Water
    Fishbo Fishbro Earth / Water Fishflip: 10% chance that enemy Spirits using Attacks hit themself instead of their target Poison
    Flamane Flowmane Poison / Fire Flower Power: While this Spirit is following you, Saplings grow 300% faster. Ice
    Hopstraw Hopsight Psychic / Earth Soul Straw: Any time you banish a Spirit, gain 2 Energy. Earth
    Hygge Triygge Earth / Ice Bounteous Bear: When this Spirit is in your party, Spirits that are banished in battle gain extra XP. Poison
    Magicat Darkitten Dark / Psychic Magic Hat: Upgrades one random card in your hand every turn and sets its cost to 0 until played. Psychic
    Marsha Leila Water / Poison Ohana Mana: At the start of your turn, convert all enemy conditions into Poison. Electric
    Pappus Pappoinpy Poison / Earth Wind Walker: Changes the direction of the wind so it is always at your back. Ice
    Posho Washo Water / Psychic Life Buoy: The first time one of Washo’s allies is reduced to 0 HP, they regain 10 HP and apply 1 Intangible. Electric
    Prikli Icikli Ice / Fire Cold Snap: Every 3 turns Icikli applies Sharp to itself equal to the total of all conditions currently applied to all Spirits. Fire
    Ribbite Ribrr Electric / Poison Poison Surge: Whenever an enemy is Banished, transfer any Poison it has to a random enemy and apply 3 Charge to itself. Dark
    Sheemp Dreamp Psychic / Fire Sheepish Shot: Any time Dreamp takes more than 1 damage, it applies 1 Intangible to itself. Earth
    Shrubbin Shrubball Ice / Poison Snow Stone: If this Spirit banishes an enemy during combat, you have a chance of receiving an Evo Stone as a reward. Fire
    Snorcko Packo Fire / Water Flaming Fly: While this spirit is following you, you can fish through ice in Winter. Water
    Sorbaton Sorbmarine Water / Ice Troll Trot: While this spirit is following you, you have a chance to catch fish while swimming. Electric
    Taro Tarox Poison / Psychic Invisible Ivy: While this spirit is following you, wild Spirits cannot detect you. Ice
    Torble Warble Dark / Water Warble Womp: When Warble’s health falls below 50%, it applies 1 Etheral to itself and all allies. Psychic
    Wolfbane Snolf Ice / Dark Slippery Start: Applies 1 Barrier to itself at the start of its first turn. Fire
