Mountain Dew’s iconic Baja Blast has officially launched in the UK for the first time, giving fans the chance to buy the drink without having to import it from elsewhere.
Long associated with Taco Bell in the U.S., Baja Blast has built a cult following since its debut in 2004. While UK fans have occasionally been able to import cans and bottles at a premium, the drink has never been officially available nationwide.
Baja Blast rolls out across UK Taco Bell restaurants
After teasing the launch across social media for several days, Taco Bell UK has confirmed Baja Blast is now available at restaurants nationwide from June 30.

The launch follows a limited rollout at Taco Bell’s Baker Street restaurant in London, where some customers were able to try the drink ahead of its wider release.
Baja Blast is an exclusive Mountain Dew flavor combining the brand’s signature citrus taste with a tropical lime profile. In the U.S., it spent nearly two decades as a Taco Bell exclusive before later receiving limited-time retail releases in bottles and cans.

The drink has become one of Mountain Dew’s most recognizable flavors, with fans regularly calling for a permanent retail release outside North America.
It’s currently only available through Taco Bell restaurants in the UK, with no announcement yet on whether it will eventually arrive in supermarkets or convenience stores. Currently, the only Mountain Dew product available to buy in grocery stores in the UK is the brand’s Citrus Blast flavor.
While it’s not celebrating the debut of a new flavor Stateside, Mountain Dew is bringing back the drink’s original can from 1948 as a limited-time promotion to celebrate Independence Day.
